Includes:
- A/C Diagnostic Test –
- Recover and measure the refrigerant.
- Inspect the A/C system for signs of leaks.
- Use an electronic refrigerant leak detector to locate any leaks.
- If no leak is found, pressurise the system with dry nitrogen.
- Check for leaks using leak detection spray and an electronic nitrogen leak detector.
- Identify and report the leaking component.
- Recommend repair or replacement.
- After repair, re-test with nitrogen to confirm the system is leak-free.
- Evacuate and recharge the A/C system to the manufacturer's specification.
Note: Additional leaks may only become apparent after the initial leak has been repaired.
